The Olive Tree Winter Seasonal Market pops up this Saturday at the award winning Maitland Regional Art Gallery. Explore the market, and the fantastic gallery, feast on great food, take in great live music, and there are free activities for kids!

We can’t wait to pop-up this Saturday with our Winter Seasonal Olive Tree Market at Maitland Regional Art Gallery. If you haven’t been before it’s time to make the trip- Olive Tree and the amazing award winning gallery, the perfect day out! 

Join us and discover a bustling collective of contemporary artists, designers, and street food purveyors, take in the sounds of an amazing live independent musicians and bands, and the kids can take part in free art and craft workshops inside the gallery from 10am-12pm

Meet our makers, learn their stories, and take home beautiful goods which have been ethically created by our talented creatives. Invite your friends and family for a picnic under the trees and feast on a selection of delicious winter focused street food and drinks. 

If you’re coming from Newcastle, or surrounding areas of Maitland, why not catch the train? It’s good for the planet and it’s only a 30 minute relaxing trip from Newcastle

Studio Kaka
We are so excited to welcome artist Vickie Liu of back to this Saturday’s Winter Seasonal Olive Tree Market at Maitland Regional Art Gallery. Vickie is inspired by Australian botanicals, animals and landscapes, and her original paintings are created using acrylics or watercolours. The artist loves painting using both mediums, and playing with their contrasting characteristics; the bold colours of acrylics and soft nature of watercolours. Discover Vickie’s beautiful work this Saturday 

Lisa Sanasi
Artisan Lisa Sanasi lives and works in her home studio based in Killcare Australia. The forms and glazes in her ceramics are inspired by the land, water and skies of the surrounding Bouddi National Park. Lisa acknowledges and pays respect to the the Darkinjung tribe, the traditional owners of the land on which she lives and works. We think you will love the earthy textures and forms in her beautiful range of home wares and jewellery.  

The Gatherers Grove
If you love delicate silver and gold vermeil jewellery, including fine necklaces, bracelets, and anklets, featuring celestial charms, then make sure to discover The Gatherers Grove at the Winter Seasonal Olive Tree Market. Emily’s range also features rings and earrings created from silver and stones including turquoise, onyx and moon stone. We know these beautiful pieces will be super popular with the young folk. we always aim to cater for all age groups, and genders, at Olive Tree!

Kerry Shepherd

Designer Kerry Shepherd creates stunning slow fashion byeaturing original botanical prints created sustainably with the natural colours and imprints of native Australian flora. Kerry’s sustainable practice is free from the use of harsh chemicals, artificial materials and synthetic dyes, and her work celebrates nature, and an inherent love of natural colour, while nurturing those who wear and enjoy her creations. Pick off unique pieces, including luxury one-of-kind scarves this Saturday

Saturday Morning Treats!
Whose coming to the gallery on Saturday for morning tea!? Feast on a line-up of the best creators of baked goods including Blackbird Artisan Bakery, Choux PatisserieCovered In Crumbs, Fifi La Femme and Soul Foods. There will also be gourmet artisan producers including Urban Hum, Arolyn Grove, Myrtle and Pepper Fine Chocolates, Soul Foods and Station Street Picklery.
