Studio Melt_Wanderlust 2_FlipThe new season range from Wanderlust Clothing has arrived and will be available at The Olive Tree Market this Saturday May 3rd. Effortlessly wearable simple cut kimono sleeve tunic dresses, boxy tops, and stretchy waist a-line skirts are Wanderlusts signature styles, punctuated by a “hello there” mix of colour, stripes, geometrics and florals.

Designer Trish Stenzel says, “If I am asked to describe my label Wanderlust Clothing, bold, brave and adventurous would pop straight into my mind. I gravitate to choosing bright, bold and often quirky prints for my women’s clothing collection. It’s a riot of pattern and print design because life really is too short to wear boring clothes”

The range includes a collection of two tone tunic tops and dresses that feature a range of striking print panels on the front and are made with a contrasting stretch knit back panel for wearing ease, comfort and exceptional fit.

Perfect for layering, and dressing up or down, the collection does not follow trends but is specifically designed to transcend seasons. Each carefully designed piece is aimed at becoming a well-loved staple in your wardrobe and your travels for years to come.

Little Wing BagsSteph Rattos of Little Wing Bags made her first furry bag 12 years ago while still in high school.  After receiving many compliments, Steph began making and selling more bags, simply by wearing her creations while she was out and about. Multiple fabric buying trips to Lincraft ended with a part-time job offer and Steph being surrounded by fabrics for over 3 years.

Steph made her fur bags on and off over the years, changing the style and design every now and then, but didn’t have the confidence to apply for markets.

Two years ago, Steph’s husband woke her in the middle of the night- he doesn’t remember this- and recounted a dream he had where Steph was selling her gorgeous bags at markets. This refreshed her dream and Steph finally took the step to become a market regular.

Steph shares her stall at The Olive Tree Market with her husband, Darren who is an incredible artist- stay tuned for a feature on Darren very soon! Market days have become a major focus, and once the couple have put their gorgeous two year old daughter to bed, they spend most of their nights sewing, creating, drawing and talking about new ideas for their stall.

Little Wing Bags are made from the finest luxury faux furs and gorgeous handpicked lining fabrics- many of which Steph collected in her years working at Lincraft-and hand sews each one making every bag an individual piece of art.

The wearer is guaranteed to receive compliments and double-takes, these bags certainly are one of a kind and completely unique.
