Some New Stalls To Explore on July 13th
Belinda Doyle Art
The colours and tones in the resin artworks created by artist Belinda Doyle are absolutely stunning. Influenced by the coastal colours that surround her, Belinda takes inspiration from nature, the beach & aerial photos to create her work. Alongside her original artworks, the artist also loves creating usable pieces for the home, including grazing platters, resin bowls, and trays. We can’t wait to introduce the artist to Newcastle, we know her work will be super popular!
Luke Abbot Designs
Artist Luke Abbot’s stunningly beautiful, unique wearable art, has a strong theoretical underpinning. Every piece of his jewellery is an aesthetic form of biomimicry- the design and production of materials, structures, and systems that are modelled on biological entities and processes. With details that are only revealed through mechanical transformation, Luke aims to unlock the childlike wonder he associates with the natural world and for his creatures to evolve to inhabit the personal, intimate space that is reserved for jewellery. Every piece Luke creates, including stunning Dragonfly Brooches, and Cicada earrings, is crafted from Titanium and meticulously heat coloured using a hand torch. No two pieces are completely alike and are uniquely one off. We are excited to welcome this established artist to The Olive Tree Market for the first time on July 13th. Don’t miss the opportunity to discover Luke’s work.
